This collection houses speeches, class notes, Sunday School notes, personal correspondence, World War II naval orders, photographs, invitations, reception programs, and several scrapbooks documenting the life and work of Dr. Herman Spivey and his wife, Havens (Taylor) Spivey. It also contains materials showing Spivey's international travels, including temporary driver's licenses issued in Great Britain and Europe, a vaccination card, and an Occupational Force Travel Permit printed in English, French, and Russian.
