Rosemary Moorehead Scrapbook, 1936 November 7
This scrapbook consists of approximately 120 images, mostly photographs, showing the Pi Beta Phi Settlement School and its vicinity. Many of the photographs show people, including Eunice Weaver (director), William King (principal), teachers, students, Arrowcraft staff members, and Franklin D. Roosevelt in Gatlinburg. Many of the photographs depicting school buildings are accompanied by crayon drawings. Also included are a series of images of Mt. LeConte (one taken during a lunar eclipse), a school newspaper, postcards, examples of weaving, and graphs of the students’ IQ’s. Almost all of the items are accompanied by typed captions.
