Soule discusses his retirement from the University of Tennessee faculty as the Director and Professor of Agriculture to his friend James Maynard, a member of the University of Tennessee’s Board of Trustees. He also expresses his gratitude to Maynard, who supported Soule’s Department of Agriculture.
