This collection consists of photographs, press clippings, and a press release on Clifton B. Cates. The press clippings describe himself as a soldier and the photographs are of him and the medals he was awarded during his service. He served in both World War I and II in the United States Marine Corps and was the 19th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps from 1948-1951.
