Robert S. Hartman's The Structure of Value, 1937
This collection contains a large manuscript of The Structure of Value: Foundations of Scientific Axiology by Robert S. Hartman. Hartman’s book, published in 1967, is about value theory and identifies three kinds of value (intrinsic goods, extrinsic goods, systemic goods). It also is about formal axiology: all good things fulfill the ideal standards or concepts that we apply to them.
This manuscript is typed and is not bound. It has handwritten notes and corrections throughout the pages.
