The five banks most frequently mentioned are the Holston National Bank, the Third National Bank, the Mechanics National Bank, the City National Bank at Knoxville, and the East Tennessee National Bank. All of the reports present were originally published in unidentified newspapers and then cut out and pasted into these ledgers.
