This collection consists of a manuscript written by Franklin and Betty J. Parker in July 1991, "Arthurdale, WV: Footnote to New Deal History." The paper explains the controversial history of Arthurdale, West Virginia, with its housing for jobless and displaced coal miners but expensive and criticized execution.
