This collection houses Donald Paine's research materials regarding State v. Scarborough. It features transcripts of the 2006 trial, one of the victim's original statements from 1997, opinions from the Knox County Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court, and several news articles about the trial from the Knoxville News Sentinel. It also houses Paine's personal notes regarding the victims, his correspondence and interviews, Scarborough's criminal history, an announcement about the case from the Knoxville Police Department, several photographs showing the trial, and materials from Paine's presentation about the case at the Knoxville Bar Association's April 8, 2010 Lunch and Learn.
