May 29 1836

To James A Nobles I take this opertunity to inform you that we are all as well as common hoping these few lines, will find you well. we have not received a letter, since the first one we wrote to you some time in march or april, and have received no answer. we lern that the indians of the creek nation, has flew to arms and killing up the whites, and heading up to Roanoak, which is in your county. I want you to write us a letter as soon as you can and, and in that letter, send us all the news and if you have to go to mett the enemy. unkle Benj Harrison is dead Samuel Redish is dead also if you have not the time to write you must git Mr J. Lusain to write or some one else the neighbors is tolearble well nothing more at present
