This collection features three letters from Robert S. Hartman to Michael and Daphne Fraenkel, written between December 22, 1941 and January 26, 1942. The letters were written from Hartman's office in New York concerning a magazine called Synthesis that he planned to assemble, asking for the Fraenkels' advice and offering Michael co-editorship of the publication.
