This folder contains a scrap from a geography study guide, certificates of honorary membership in the Tennessee Press Association and the Georgia Historical Society, J.G.M. Ramsey's commission as railroad agent on March 9, 1850, one fourth of J.G.M. Ramsey's commission as regimental surgeon on May 15, 1820, and the entire commission as same from November 1, 1847. It also includes a printed edition of the Declaration of Independence of Mecklenburg; a poem written to the memory of Margaret Ramsey, a newspaper circular that had been sent to the Knoxville Sentinel and to the VB paper at Athens in support of General Armstrong's election to governor,a blank application for a loan from Maryville College, pages 15-16 from the Women's Missionary Advocate, two very long poems in response to death, newspaper clippings, an obituary for John (sic) Ramsey, a pencilled manuscript for Tennessee in the Revolution (pages 1-20), a map of land along a river (possibly King's Mountain), and the end of a letter or speech for the re-interment of Governor Blount.
