This series is material collected and received by John and Ellen Green beginning with their marriage in 1897 and continues through John Green’s death in 1957. It includes correspondence, travel journals, ledgers, financial information, newspaper clippings on various matters of interest including family members and other prominent members of the community, speeches made by John Green, collections of hobbies by Ellen Green, and souvenirs from their life together in Knoxville.
