Life Magazine, 1944 January 24
This collection consists of four letters from 1911 and 1917 and a copy of Life magazine from 1944. The letter dated November 17, 1911, is from J. W. S. Rhea to his brother-in-law Henry B. Staley. In it, he discusses property in Marion, Virginia. The letter dated August 16, 1917, is from D. W. Rogers to Nash Buckingham. In it, he asks Buckingham to look into covering a check that was returned from a closed account of J. W. S. Rhea. The letter dated September 18 is from T. Nash Buckingham to J. B. Staley. In it, he says he has sent the money requested by Mr. Rogers, he reminisces about his time at school with Mr. Rhea and the success he attributes to him, and closes by asking to buy Mr. Rhea's Club certificate. The letter dated December 1917 is from Club manager Ellison to A. M. Staley. In it, he says the Club will not collect Mr. Rhea's last dues payment since he is dead and thanks Mr. Staley for paying the third quarter dues.
The Life magazine includes an article and several photos about Nash Buckingham's hunting trip in Tennessee. The last three photos show him demonstrating safety principles.
