Currencies, undated
This collection includes records and memorabilia from Horace Simpson Jr.'s service in the U.S. Army during World War II, particularly from his time in Europe. Records include a promotion and his separation qualification record. Other documents include newsletters from the Finance Replacement Training Center and the USS Gustavus, a training guide from Fort Benjamin Harrison, and paperwork for his leave to Switzerland. Memorabilia includes information for soldiers visiting Europe as well as general travel guides and postcards. Also included is a wooden statue that is a photograph of Simpson which has been mounted on wood and trimmed to shape.
