Josephine Ijams Newsletters, 1924 January 19-September 8
Donated by George and Martha Kern, these newsletters offer a wealth of family news of interest to their young editor. She shares family trips, events, illnesses, purchases, and visitors; she reports the deaths of pets and birds; includes puzzles and jokes, occasional illustrations and lyrics; and offers a couple of editorials. Most of the newsletters have been typed, but some include the handwritten original.
