Correspondence, 1943 April 1 - August 2

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 6
From the Collection:

This collection contains the personal correspondence, memorabilia, and newspaper clippings of William F. Baggerman during his career in the United States Army Air Corps during World War Two. Most of the collection is correspondence between Baggerman and his family, regarding the family business and the situation at home. Baggerman’s discussion of military matters is limited. Memorabilia includes a patch and pin from the 20th Air Force, and leaflets describing the coming of the atomic bomb in Japanese.

Military documents include two tests taken by Baggerman in Technical School. Press Clippings display financial and social atmospheres back in the United States, as well as a clipping from a base magazine. A later clipping describes the desire of Guam to demand reparations for damages caused in World War Two.

Other papers include a church pamphlet listing the names of those serving, correspondence about a local incident and a newsletter from the 1990s for the veterans that served with Baggerman.
