Jeanette Lanning Payne Davis photographs and biography, undated
This collection consists of audio tapes used for background information when writing Davis' novel, “Okeeheedee Country.” Also included are photographs of Jeanette in her cap and gown, a copy of her short work, “Wild Flowers in Hog Branch,” a summary of her life, a copy of a photo of Alcoa High School Central Office (1983-1984) that she appears in, and a copy of a letter she wrote to Random House Publishing Group requesting they publish a book of her poetry.

Abstract
Included with the summary Jeanette Lanning Payne Davis wrote about her life is a photograph of her in her cap and gown and a photocopy of a picture taken of Alcoa High School Central Office staff 1983-1984 that she appears in. Jeanette wrote the summary to read for her 30 year reunion at Maryville High School, class of 1957. She discusses her hobbies, likes and dislikes her religion, her husband, her parents, her academic and professional career, and the person she has become over the last three decades.
