This collection consists of an interview transcription with Lemuel Sparks conducted by G. Kurt Piehler and Viviana Chapa on March 13, 2001. In his interview, he describes his childhood, the struggles of living during the Depression, his education, and his military and preaching career. Sparks served with the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific theater on the USS Sangamon and USS Fall River.
