This subseries holds correspondence and papers from many of James R. Stokely Jr.’s relatives, with the bulk of the correspondence addressed to his mother, Janie May Stokely. Other papers of note include his uncle John B. Stokely’s financial documents and papers documenting the deaths of James R. Stokely Jr.'s grandmother Anna and uncle George Stokely in October 1916.
