This series began as a fantasy-focused companion to Amazing Stories in 1938, named Fantastic until 1960, when it discontinued and was replaced with Fantastic Stories of the Imagination. In 1980, it merged with Amazing into a single digest. This part of the collection includes Vol. 10 No. 8 - Vol. 27. Also included is a the final independent edition of Fantastic Stories Science Fiction. Notable Authors include Roger Zelazny and Ursula K. Le Guin.
