This subseries pertains to the following types of correspondence: Library Administrative Correspondence, dated between 1975-1979; Other Library Correspondence, dated between 1888-1999; and Undergraduate Library Correspondence and Materials, dated between 1959 and 1985. This section contains correspondence between library department heads, including memos, letters discussing department planning, expectations of and for administrators, interview schedules for a budget-planning librarian, outlines for interview processes, resumés of job applicants, as well as other subjects. Papers are signed by Director Robert W. Boss, Staff Development Librarian Eleanor Dempster, and Associate Director George W. Shipman.
