The UT Marching Band Collection holds the historical material for the oldest and prestigious collegiate band program, with the material dating 1901 to the present. The collection includes photographs as well as audio and visual recordings of band pre-game and halftime show performances at regular season football games and bowl games; band practices off-season performances; and special events such as trips abroad to Scotland and Ireland. The collection also contains photographs, news clippings, awards and certificates, correspondence, memorabilia, and publications about the band, its directors, its majorettes, and its drum majors. Also of note are drill charts and game scripts that map out performances for pre-game and halftime shows.
