John M. Friedman Photographs, 1944-1945
This collection contains photographs depicting the operations of the U. S. Armed Forces in France, Germany, and Belgium during World War II from 1944-1945. Many of the pictures were taken by the U. S. Army Signal Corps, whose duties included documenting the U. S. military. Among the other photographs are aerial views of New York City, NY taken for the U. S. Navy.
