Series II: War Department Technical Manuals contains manuals titled as Techincal Manuals, which include radio information, aircraft maintenance, and machine workings among others.

Series III: War Department Engineering Manuals include manuals titles as Engineering Manuals, containing reference data and camouflage techniques.

Series IV: War Department Various Manuals contains other War Department manuals, including watermanship, map and aerial photographs, sanitation procedures, and defense against chemical warfare.

Series V: Other Manuals contains manualsnot expressly related to the War Department, including radio repairs, a copy of Army Life, and a USAFI Information Bulletin.
