Robert Hooper served during World War II in the European theater. This collection contains much of his correspondence - mainly addressed to his family - featuring his time in the service and describing some of his troop's movements. The majority of this material is photocopies.

Series I: Correspondence from Hooper contains several letters written by Hooper to Colonol Babcock, but most letters are addressed to his family and tell of his daily life in the service.

Series II: Correspondence to Hooper contains a few letters addressed to Hooper.

Series III: Other Correspondence includes two letters, one to "Walt from Whitey" and another from "Jiggs."

Series IV: Staplers Stories includes three different copies of Staplers Stories: Nos. 64, 67, and 163.

Series V: Other Documents contains an affidavit, a sermon, a business card, several envelopes, a receipt, and an ad for Yardley Hair Tonic.
