This collection contains one copy of "My Forties," Donald L. Askerman's memoir of his experiences during World War II. Donald L. Askerman served mainly in the European theater during WWII. As an armored gunner in the Army Air Forces, he completed 35 combat mission before being grounded. His memoir contains photographs, personal notes, propaganda, and news from his service.
