This collection consists of a pamphlet titled Alcoa's Hydroelectric Developments in the Smoky Mountains. The pamphlet describes development of the Alcoa Aluminum Company's hydroelectric plants in the Smoky Mountains. Also included are two photographs, one of the Cheoah Development and one of the Narrows created by the Calderwood Dam.

The pamphlet was originally prepared for use at the Sixth International Congress on Large Dams in 1958; it was revised in July 1966.
