Gateway Stock Company of New York programs, A-C, circa 1947-1959

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 6
From the Collection:

Materials relating to the Gateway Stock Company of New York and the Sevier County Theatre Guild, both based in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Gateway Stock Company materials are dated around 1949 to 1959 and consist mostly of newspaper reviews and notes by the primary reviewer, Laura Thornborough, and programs from various plays, which are arranged by title. Many of these programs include multiple copies and have handwritten notes on them, especially noting the year they were performed. Sevier County Theatre Guild materials, dated around 1987 to 1998, contain publicity information, especially from the performances of The Crucible and Godspell, newspaper articles, notes, and personal short stories and letters that belonged to Janice Brooks-Headrick ("Jan Headrick"), the Publicity Director for the Guild in the 1990s.
