Oral History, undated
This collection contains Gus W. Dyer’s memoirs, essays, diary entries, and correspondence from his time serving in World War II. Most of the correspondence is between Dyer and his mother during his deployments to the Pacific Theater (Philippines, Australia, Japan, and more) between 1942 and 1945. The later correspondence, written in 1985, are memoirs of Dyer’s time in the war. Also included is an oral history of prisoner of war Gunner Roberts as told to Dyer.
