The titles for the negatives came from the index page of the negative book. Folders 53-150 are from Roth's negative file book Book 1. Researchers should be aware that there are multiple books titled Book 1. This Book 1 has green binding and is labeled Book 9 (not by Roth) on the outside cover. The folder names, or negative names, were created by Nancy Williams, who arranged the collection. Folders 151-211 are taken from one of Roth’s untitled negative file books.
