These summaries document the county-level results of the Tennessee gubernatorial elections held in August 1799 (between John Sevier, George Conway, and George Anderson), August 1803 (between John Sevier and Archibald Roane), August 1805 (between John Sevier and Archibald Roane), August 1813 (Willie Blount ran unopposed), August 1815 (between Joseph McMinn, Jesse Wharton, Robert Weakley, Robert Foster, Thomas Johnson, and Dennis Blulmagrudery), August 1817 (between Joseph McMinn and Robert Foster), August 1819 (between Joseph McMinn, Enoch Parsons, Sayers, John Bostick, and Peter Edwards), August 1821 (between William Carroll and Edward Ward), August 1823 (between William Carroll and McBride), and August 1825 (between William Carroll, Hyde, Wilson, Crabb, Daniel, McLemore, Crenshaw, and Christian). All of the information was extracted from the original election returns.
