George Remaley Collection, 1941-1947
Photographs and papers documenting George Remaley's service in the European Theatre with the 9th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. Photographs include images of training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, as well as scenes from Sicily, France, and Germany. Papers include a booklet entitled, “History of the 9th Infantry Division,” and a four-page typed manuscript of Remaley’s reminiscences about his time in the service.
