This collection documents the World War II service of Army dentist Reuben Crawford. Included are military documents including a draft notice and other orders, certificates of service, and more (most of these military documents are photocopies); correspondence; newspaper clippings and other write-ups about Crawford’s service; a 10-page typescript prepared by Crawford in 1977 recounting his time in North Africa; papers regarding donations of material Crawford made to the Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor in Kentucky; and a few non-English WWII-era publications and pamphlets (mostly in German and French).
