Tria French writes to Beauford Delaney that she and her children look forward to being able to see him soon. She tells him that she truly admires his painting. She recounts a lecture that she went to at Reid Hall, in which a Columbia Professor (Eli Guinzburg) claimed that Roosevelt has done nothing to aid the position of African-Americans in the United States. Handwritten. Envelope attached.
