Bobbe Johnson Memories of Pearl Harbor, 1991
This collection contains a 12-page typescript memoir by Bobbe Johnson in which Johnson describes the days before, during, and after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Johnson was living with her husband, a lieutenant with the U.S. Navy, in Oahu, Hawaii at the time. Johnson’s husband survived the attack, but many of their friends and coworkers did not. Johnson goes into detail regarding their fear of a Japanese invasion as well as everyone stepping up to take care of each other in the aftermath of the attack.
