The subseries “Marion Greenwood Correspondence” dates from 1929 to 1972, and contains personal and business letters to and from the artist. Correspondents include her partner Robert Plate, administration of the Treasury Relief Art Project, Reeves Lewenthal, Isamu Noguchi, Oscar Stonorov, Elizabeth Ames, Marjorie Peabody Waite, Dorothy Block, Thomas C. Parker, Elizabeth Olds, Joseph Breen, Elizabeth Kendall Thompson, and Elinor F. Morgenthau (Mrs. Henry Morgenthau, Jr.). Several other artists and persons of note are also mentioned, including Federico Castellon, Diego Rivera, Ben Shahn, Ashley Montagu, Anita Loos, Sir Julian Huxley, David and Maria Burliuk, David Diamond, Aaron Bohrod, and Bernardine Szold-Fritz.
