This collection houses a large assemblage of American locomotive photographs, railroad timetables, newspaper clippings, magazines, books, and such other pieces of railroadiana as engineer's coveralls, pieces of track, oil cans, spikes, pencils, and a lapel pin. The approximately 500 unusual books that were initially a part of this collection have been removed and cataloged into the Rare Books collection.
