This collection consists of two writs issued by the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions in Davidson County, witnessed in October of 1794. The first writ in this set instructs the Sheriff of Davidson County to collect the money that John Anderson and his wife recovered against Sackfield Macklin in a recent court case. The second instructs him to collect the money that Daniel James recovered against John Bell, also in a recent court case, and was issued on November 21, 1794. After he has obtained the sums, the Sheriff is to bring them to the Court's January 1795 session so that they can be officially redistributed.
