T. J. Fisher Account Book, 1874 October 9-1892 October 26
This book opens on October 9, 1874 as the Minute Book of the Carthage Automatologian Society with W. D. Gold president and T. J. Fisher secretary. Fisher used the later pages for a variety of purposes, including an alphabetical digest of laws (pages 1-61), the financial records of his law practice (pages 62-83), calving records for a herd of red polled cattle (pages 84-86), financial records concerning his guardianship of James E. and Cethilda Haywire (pages 107-111), other financial records (pages 112-154), and a meeting roll and agenda (page 156).
