World War II Flying Bomb Collection, 1944 July, undated
This collection houses newspaper clippings documenting the German V-1 Flying Bomb attacks on Britain in June and July of 1944. Among these materials are letters to the editor debating reprisals, short anecdotes and jokes about the bombs, and articles discussing technical, psychological, and strategic matters related to the bombings. The collection also includes an envelope for official business of the Public Relations Office of the Headquarters of the United States Strategic Air Force in Europe.
