Frances Hodgson Burnett Letter, 1919 December 10
591 Park Avenue
Dec 10, 1919
My dear Mr. McGee,
I am sorry to say that I have not been well in some time & for some weeks have been taking a rest-cure under Dr. Fowles care at the above address. If I were not advised to do nothing whatever I would procure your books with pleasure.
I am shortly to be sent to a lovely resting place I have in Bermuda, which I have not been able to visit during the war. I hope to return a remade creature in June or July & if you will write to me again at my address Plandome Park Plandome, Long Island
where I think of spending the summer I will tell you exactly when to send you books. With thanks to you for your long interest in my work which really makes us friends.
Yours sincerely,
Frances Hodgson Burnett
