"The court having been informed of the death of the Hon John Haywood, one of the judges of the Supreme Court of the state of Tennessee, and deeming it due to the pre-eminent public services of the deceased, that they should furnish some testimonial of the loss sustained by the state in the death of this distinguished Judge, it is ordered that the court do now adjourn until two o'clock this evening."
