This collection consists of a single letter from Sampson Williams in Nashville to Colonel David Henley in Knoxville dated December 24, 1794. Williams writes to request Henley complete an enclosed form. Williams continues his letter with a discussion of the lack of troops and protection at Fort Blount and the surrounding areas as well as the consequential deaths of various neighbors.
