This collection contains several cartes de visite and two tintype photographs of both prominent and unidentified Civil War-era individuals. None of the items are dated.
Included are images of Civil War-era generals such as Ulysses S. Grant, William T. Sherman, Ambrose E. Burnside, and William S. Rosecrans. There are also two cartes de visite of a "J. Warthman" included in this collection. The bulk of the cartes de visite in this collection include the name of the photographer's studio on the back of the card.
