This collection contains the 1878-1884 autograph album of Mary Heal from London, Ontario, Canada. It contains autographs, verses, drawings, watercolor paintings, and more from friends and family in London, Ontario; Knoxville, Tennessee; and South Carolina. Some of the autographs are from members of the Heal, Nesbitt, and Kingsmill families.
There is a separate folder which contains loose material separated from the book including letters, notes, and paper hearts. The only post-1900 item is a 1952 letter from Mary Heal's daughter Alice to Hazel Burbage of Knoxville, Tennessee, about the book and other belongings.
