This collection contains eight audiotapes and one vinyl album related to James Agee and his works.

Included is the vinyl album for James Agee: A Portrait (1971) and four cassette tapes with this recording as well. This recording includes Agee reading his own work and Father James H. Flye reading from Agee's work and reminiscing about Agee. Also included are two cassette tapes of "The Quiet One" and two cassette tapes labeled "Agee Week" which include lectures on Agee, likely from a 1972 Conference in Sewanee.
