John Flynn Letters, 1945 February 15- 1945 August 29
These letters, written between John and Helen Flynn during World War II, generally focus on the status of their children and how they long for each other. John Flynn does mention fighting in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge, but that is all he mentions of his combat experiences. Flynn includes on the top of one of his letters a stamp from the Third Reich featuring a picture of Hitler. The letters documenting John's death describe in detail how he was killed and provide consolation to his wife and children. The letters are written on official stationary of Flynn's company, blank paper, and Red Cross Stationary.
