Civil War Letter, 1862 June 20
In this letter, Maggie mentions that his regiment has been under marching orders and has recently been through Pea Ridge, Bolivar, Shiloh, and Memphis, Tennessee, where he is currently encamped. The author is extremely concerned with the lack of response from his recipient, Mrs. Sylvia (possibly Julia) Kimbler, and emphasizes that this will be his last letter unless he receives post from her.
