Civil War Letter, 1864 March 6
In this letter, Brown describes the weather, his health, and his surroundings. It has been windy and cold in Tennessee lately, which has aggravated his eyes, and many of the men in his regiment have suffered and died from measles or other disease. He discusses familiar names with his brother and says little about military operations.
