This collection consists of 252 photographs, primarily of women in nursing uniforms, taken in Memphis, Tennessee in about 1923. There is a portrait of a woman identified as Eva Montgomery in a nursing uniform, four loose photographs of people posing in a park, and 247 photographs glued to black photo album pages. In one photograph, a license plate with the year 1923 is visible, which gives insight into the time period in which the photographs were taken.

The collection opens with a photograph of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Many of the photographs are snapshots of nurses, often posing with each other, babies, children, or cars. There are also photographs of people (primarily women) in regular clothing in a variety of locations, including several in snow.

There are people identified in the photographs as Eva Montgomery,Dr. Maury,Dr. Toombs,Miss Jones,Miss Mann,Miss Beesley, and Bess. No additional identifying information is given.
